Fall Color

I took a road trip over Stevens Pass to Eastern Washington this past week.  I love driving over the Cascades during the height of fall.  It may not be Vermont, but the color is beautiful.  Especially, the Sumac:

It covers the hillsides like a smokeless brushfire, flaring up between the golden Sycamores and yellow Aspens.

A good day trip is the drive from Seattle via Highway 2Nason Creek, Stevens Pass, Washington by Keith Willits Photo to Leavenworth Leavenworth, WA by hhschuellerfor lunch, and return over Blewett Pass. blewett pass july 2006 036 by jessikamarie02 The loop is beautiful any time of year, but the fall is spectacular!fall colors by Ambrosia_apples

  1. Awesome photos. Just lovely. I had been to Vermont and have written about my experience too.
