The Mixtress

Another fine short film from the Portland Festivel:

THE MIXTRESS

THE MIXTRESS

Portland

Director: Peter Hermes

This quick documentary profiles a woman with a passion for sharing music; she has created an international phenomenon by leaving mixed CDs for others to discover. (7 mins.)

This really opened my eyes to an intriguing way of sharing music.  The subject of the film is a young woman who spends a significant amount of her time sharing the music she loves, as well as the music people from around the world, send her.  You can easily be a part of it.

Check it out: It sounds like a wonderful way to experience new things, and isn’t THAT what life is all about?
