Duck in a Truck


I grew up in a beach house on the Olympic Peninsula. My grandmother used to but cracked corn by the sack full "I'm not particully concerned if JIMMY CRACKED CORN, are you?" They all became quite tame, faithfully following all those who ventured out into the yard, including the dog and catmake way for ducklings by shoothead. I used to think it would be fun to have a duck as a pet but, alas, the flock we fed was wild, though attentive.
